The Graco Turbo Go does what we’d expect a booster seat to do — it just works. The vehicle seat belt fit was spot on for all of our models. Each of our models was able to set it up themselves without help from adults. It lacks some of the bells and whistles that make more featured booster seats heavier but since this booster’s sole mission in life is to keep carpoolers safe, the Graco Turbo Go is absolutely is up to the task.
Britax retired the longtime favorite Parkway booster seat this spring and replaced it with the Highpoint, Midpoint and Skyline highback booster seats. Recently we reviewed the Highpoint, and we were happy to spend some time with the Skyline. The Britax Highpoint is a very nice booster seat that’s easy to use. We’re particularly fond of the plush cover, the lower anchors, and the consistent vehicle seat belt fit that it offered to our young passengers.
Families who don’t find themselves moving booster seats between vehicles too often (or who don’t mind contorting themselves around the seat to move it) and/or families who have children who are prone to overheating will find a solid choice in the Kobuk Booster Seat.
The KidsEmbrace 2-in-1 Booster Seat has a lot to offer in backless mode. It’s lightweight, offers a consistent belt fit, and is stunningly wide where it counts — in the seating area.
The 18 inch top shoulder belt guide and fairly narrow back area mean that it’s very short-lived in high back mode.
The TurboBooster TakeAlong excels at its main purpose in life — being a very portable option that most Littles can set up and use properly with minimal or no supervision.
This is a big task for a small seat. We’re thrilled to see that the TurboBooster TakeAlong does all of this with ease.

The Monterey XT is a great booster for any booster-ready child, especially those with larger builds. It is easy to install and use. The lower anchor connectors, cup holders, and adjustable width are all very nice features that make this seat uniquely customizable. While it is bulky and won’t work well in a three-across situation, the Diono Monterey XT is definitely a great seat for bigger littles.
