Recall Description
Issue:
Certain child car seats may not meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations when installed in a rear-facing position using the vehicle seat belt and tether.
Safety Risk:
A child seat that doesn’t meet the requirements of the Canadian regulations could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Corrective Actions:
Evenflo will notify registered owners in writing and provide you with a remedy kit. Evenflo advises that you may continue to use the seat in a rear-facing position if you install it using the universal anchorage system (UAS). You can also continue to use the seat in the forward-facing position.
You should contact Evenflo to obtain a free remedy kit and instructions for how to install it.
