Featuring sleek lines, Crypton fabric, and great colors and patterns, the Clek Foonf and Clek Fllo are trendy, fun seats that appeal to many. With a starting weight limit of 14 lbs. though, these sweet seats cannot be used from birth. With the recently released infant-thingy, an insert that can be used with both the Foonf and Fllo starting at 5 lbs. and 19″, the Clek convertibles are now an option for those who choose to skip the rear facing only seat.
Considering a Clek convertible car seat, but you’re not sure which one is right for you? Have you read our review of the Foonf or our review of the Fllo but still can’t decide? The seats are very similar: both have anti-rebound bars (ARB). Both rear face to 50 lbs. and forward face to 65 lbs.
We’ve had our Foonf for a while now. Seeing it in the sunlight recently made me realize that it was time for a good cleaning. My 4 year old daughter has a fondness for eating in the car. This replaces her fondness for screaming in the car; so sometimes there’s a buildup of snack debris in her car seat.
Foonf is a funny word, yet if it is uttered in a room of Child Passenger Safety Technicians or Advocates, one will be met with many head turns, pricked ears, and immediate attention. I waited a very long time for my Foonf, and was thrilled to be one of the first to have hands on experience with this car seat.
