Transport Canada and Orbit Baby, Inc. are informing the public that G3 Infant Car Seats made between December 2013 and December 2016 do not comply with the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations. Specifically, these infant car seats do not meet the dynamic testing requirements when used without the base. These seats also do not conform to the prescribed label permanency requirements.
Baby Trend has announced a recall for some of their Hybrid LX 3-in-1 Centennial booster seats, model number FB58181, manufactured on July 23, 2016 and Hybrid LX 3-in-1 Kiwi booster seats, model number FB48417, manufactured on July 14, 2016.

This booster seat was manufactured with two different belt guides, one shaped like the letter U and one like the letter Z. Both versions of the seat may have come with misleading labels or instructions for routing the shoulder belt through the guide. If the shoulder belt is improperly routed, the seat may not protect a child in a crash.

Specifically, these convertible car seats do not meet the dynamic requirements for head acceleration of the Motor Vehicle Restraint Systems and Booster Seats Safety Regulations.
Baby Jogger has issued a recall for their City Go rear facing only seats and bases, model numbers BJ64510, BJ64529, BJ80400 (base), BJ61500 (base), BJ72510 (travel system), BJ70411 (travel system), BJ70424 (travel system), and BJ70431 (travel system).
Graco has issued a recall for the Milestone multimode car seats that were manufactured between July 2015 and October 2015 with model numbers 1910130, 1923980, 1926538, and 1926539.This is not a life-safety recall. You may continue to use your seat.
On July 27, 2016, Transport Canada announced a recall on Little Tikes branded booster made by Diono.
On August 5, 2016, Transport Canada announced a recall on the Kids Embrace Friendship Series Combination Booster Seat. The affected seats were manufactured between January and November, 2015 and include Cinderella, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Leo and Spiderman.
