I first met the Lil Fan booster seats at the ABC Kids Expo last fall. It took all of about two seconds for me to find the booster wearing the Ohio State cover and sidle up for a closer look. As a lifelong Buckeye fan, and fan of car seats, clearly it was fate that I met this seat. Seeing the fairly high 21″ top belt guide position made me even more eager to see how it would fit my young Buckeye fans!
Both of these warnings are so ubiquitous that maybe you haven’t stopped to read them (or, maybe, your kids are so loud and busy that you haven’t had the chance). These federally mandated warnings say the same thing: the vehicle’s back seat is the safest place for children under age 13 to ride. Sometimes, this warning reads “12 and under”, but the recommendation remains the same: kids should ride in the back seat if at all possible before they turn 13.

Hello from the beautiful Omni Orlando Resort at Championsgate! Several of the CSFTL team are here attending the 11th annual child passenger safety conference of Kidz In Motion. On Wednesday, we had the opportunity to attend technical workshops, both of which provided us with new tools for assisting families and caregivers.
Today, Britax announced a recall of select Advocate ClickTight, Marathon ClickTight, and Boulevard ClickTight seats. The recall is for seats manufactured between August 1, 2014 and July 29, 2015. This affects seats in the United States and Canada.
Transport Canada wishes to inform the public that certain Snugli/Embrace 35 (within the model numbers listed above) car seats may have an installation diagram label that incorrectly shows the position of the carry handle when the restraint is installed in the vehicle. In Canada, the handle should be in Position 1 for travel, and the incorrect label shows the handle in Position 4.
