Britax has made the Parkway booster for a while now, but in 2013, it got a makeover. This Parkway model, the SG-L, comes equipped with lower anchor connectors which secure it to the vehicle.It has extra foam and padding; some added touches that might make it perfect for some families.
CSFTL is happy to review our first palindromic booster seat! Written the same forward as it is backwards, Aidia has released a new booster to the US market, the Explorer. This high back to backless booster has a logo at the top that looks very nearly the same in your rear view mirror as it does looking directly at it. It also sports a removable cupholder, is quite narrow, easy to adjust, is lightweight, and is comfortable.
The CruiserFix Pro is a belt positioning booster that includes a variety of features that I would not have thought to include on a booster — adjustable thigh support, adjustable sidewings, rigid lower anchors, and shock absorbers. Those features contribute to the awards that this seat has won.
The original Graco TurboBooster has been a CSFTL favorite for quite some time. It’s lightweight, fits smaller children well, and is almost foolproof to use properly. When Graco showed us a sneak peek at the updated TurboBooster LX during the ABC Kids show last fall, we had a hard time imagining how they could possibly improve such a solid seat until all was revealed.
